Welcome to my In the Stax blog!  As a life-long lover of books, I’m always looking for a good read, and know many others who share this interest. This blog is an opportunity to share information about the great books I’ve read and hopefully learn about new titles from friends and fellow bibliophiles. Each title I write about will be one that I enjoyed and would recommend.  I won’t bother posting about the books I don’t like, unless they are particularly egregious, and I feel the need to warn off my fellow readers.

I am a big believer in supporting and patronizing public libraries, so many of the titles I review will be ones I’ve found in my local library. Eco-friendly and free! If you prefer to buy books, all the book cover images featured in this blog link to their listing on Amazon.com, where you can purchase the books on-line. The majority of the books I read are modern fiction, but I plan to post reviews on non-fiction, biography, classics and children’s books to keep the mix interesting.
